Photography workshop being offered
One of the nation’s leaders in photography education is putting on a workshop in Idaho Falls.
Master Instructor Christopher Balmer owns perfect light on 17th street.
He decided to share his skills locally, with anyone interested, at a reduced rate.
Balmer has taught more than ten-thousand people in several countries.
“Well I mean that a lot of people don’t realize that we are the leader in education in the U.S.” said Balmer. “We teach about a hundred students a month here, we’ve taught over ten thousand students in less than nine years, we’re probably hitting closer to the eleven thousand mark here. We teach people from all over the world. We teach in China, we teach in Africa, Amazon, Iceland, all over the world. Brazil. Most people don’t realize that we have this level of photo education in Eastern Idaho.”
“It’s really geared for anyone who is interested in learning how to get the possible images directly out of their camera.” Said Kevin Odette, a landscape photographer.
If you are interested in the “Mastering Your Camera” class, it is for beginners to intermediates.
It costs 60 dollars.
The mastering landscape photography class costs, 30 dollars.
If you are a veteran, fireman, policeman, or junior high or high school student, you get in free of charge, just bring in a can of food.
