United Way of Southeastern Idaho welcomes new CEO

United Way of Southeastern Idaho has a new CEO. Kevin Bailey moved from Omaha, NE, to take over the position.

Replacing former CEO Margaret Ganyo, Bailey was looking to make a difference with community impact and viewed Pocatello as a great spot to do so.

“For me and my family this was a great opportunity,” Bailey said. “I’ve been in the nonprofit and education sector my whole life and my whole career and really wanted to make a difference in this community.”

Bailey connected with United Way’s mission and wants to continue what the group’s already started.

“And create the biggest impact possible and that’s what our mission is all about. I’m really excited to get to know folks in the community and build relationships and continue on the great work that united way of Southeastern Idaho has been able to do over the last number of years,” he said.

Bailey’s long-term goal is to create an example in Pocatello that communities around the nation want to copy.
