Organizers hope to turn Shady Grove Music Camp into an annual event

Next Friday and Saturday, hundreds are expected to gather at FMC Park in Pocatello for the first annual Shady Grove Music Camp.

The two-day event will feature 23 acts across two stages.

Organizers Caleb Rosenkrance and Mike Engle said they anticipate a crowd of about 200, but could see up to 400.

Mixing local and out of state bands, the event will feature camping, group yoga and, of course, lots of music.

Engle and Rosenkrance both hope this year’s event put them in a good position to do it again next year.

“That’s the idea, for sure,” Engle said. “We would like to see this thing take off and bring in bigger and bigger name bands.”

Tickets are $25 and single day passes will be available day of, $15 for Friday and $20 for Saturday.
