One school bond passes, two fail to receive super majority vote in August election
Three school districts had bonds up for a vote Tuesday night.
The Sugar Salem School District received more than enough votes, with 840 of 1,037 voters voting for the General Obligation Bond.
The Oneida County School had a bond proposal of $17,350,000 to build a new elementary school and demolish the old one.
903 people voted in favor of the bond which was 57.22 percent of the total votes, about 10 percentage points of the super majority needed.
Bonneville School District 93 was asking for a super majority to pass a bond worth $42,700,000. Only 41.22 percent voted in favor.
