Work Center Inmate Captured In Chubbuck

The Idaho Department of Correction said the community work center resident who walked away from his job at a Shelley business on Thursday afternoon is back in custody.

Kyle Davis Dixey was arrested by U.S. Marshals in Chubbuck about 3:30 p.m. on Friday. They said he was taken into custody without incident.

Dixey was reported missing around lunch time on Thursday. When he didn’t return to his assigned job, the work center started escape procedures. Dixey was assigned to the Idaho Falls Community Work Center.

Dixey was sentenced in Bingham County and was serving time for attempting to elude an officer.
