Jr. High Athletics Make Come Back In Dist. 91

Junior high athletics are making a comeback in Idaho Falls School District No. 91.

The sports were eliminated last year because of budget cuts. They’ll now be reinstated for the upcoming 2011-2012 school year, but with participation fees to cover program costs.

According to the district’s website, the new fees are $120 for the first sport, $100 for the second and $80 for the third.

Programs offered will include boys wrestling, girls volleyball as well as basketball, track and cross country for both genders.

There will be more information available at parent meetings in August. For those dates and times, click here.
