Construction Season Far From Over

The summer season may be coming to a close with the Labor Day holiday, but construction season is far from over.

Drivers in the upper valley can expect delays north of Rexburg as the Idaho Transportation Department begins its next project.

On Tuesday, crews will begin to resurface the six-mile stretch of Highway 20 between the Rexburg north exit and St. Anthony south exit.

Travel will be reduced to one lane in each direction with speed limits reduced to 55 miles per hour.

The project is expected to be completed by mid October, with a seal coat next summer.
