Hoku Will Get Second Access Route

Hoku’s Pocatello plant is getting its second access point.

Hoku officials negotiated with Union Pacific to build a permanent secondary route into the polysilicon plant.

Fire code requires plants the size of Hoku’s to have at least two ways to drive in and out of the location in case of an emergency.

Access across Union Pacific property at Philbin Road will be the new permanent second route into the plant.

This route will not require a bridge to be built over the railroad tracks.
