Mayor England Gives State Of Chubbuck Address

Ten days into 2012, the city of Chubbuck held its first City Council meeting of the new year to rehash 2011 and preview what’s in store for the upcoming year.

In Mayor Steve England’s state of the city address, he lamented on the overall slowdown in residential growth but celebrated the development the city saw in 2011.

His speech highlighted the expansion and progress on East Chubbuck road and the continued growth of the Pine Ridge Mall area. Which, most notably, added an All State customer service center in October.

“We anticipate some growth, both, residential growth and commercial growth. We have some infrastructure projects that I think will also provide some good positive things for the city. So we’re excited,” England said.
