I-15 Reopens After Dust Storm

I-15 between mileposts 119 and 135 is back open after a Sunday afternoon dust storm.

Police had blocked the stretch of highway between Idaho Falls and Roberts because blowing dust in the area was causing reduced visibility.

This winter season has seen a number of closures in this area because of dust storms. Idaho Transportation Department officials tell us it is extremely unusual.
