Nationwide Tour Promotes New Potato

Two businesses are coming together to spread a little flavor across America.

Potandon Produce and Johnnie’s Fine Foods kicked off their nationwide tour in Idaho Falls with a luncheon.

Along with Johnnie’s flavorings and their unique food truck, the “Klondike” potato was featured.

People promoting the tour are confident that this unique new potato offers a great alternative to the Russet.

“We are very confident in our product, we are very confident in Potandon’s product and we just feel that if we can get things in people’s mouths they are gonna buy it,” Jeff Hansen, director of marketing for Johnnie’s said.

The Johnnie’s mobile diner will be on the road with this tour for two years.
