Volunteer Shortage At EIRMC Cancer Resource Center

The EIRMC Cancer Resource Center is in need of volunteers.

Volunteer coordinators say there’s currently a shortage of manpower.

You don’t need a medical background to help out, and there are plenty of different ways to get involved.

We don’t require a lot of time from our volunteers,” said Andrea Todd, the promotions director for the Idaho Falls Cancer Resource Center. “It’s very important for them to have a heart full of compassion, to be able to sit and listen when a patient needs to talk and to be able to be delicate in situations that require that.”
