Idaho Falls Man Arrested In Connection With Embezzlement Case

Idaho Falls police arrested a 51-year-old man Tuesday morning on a warrant for felony grand theft.

The warrant for the arrest of Stanley William Mills of Idaho Falls stems from a police investigation into the alleged embezzlement of more than $550,000 from Environmental Management Inc. between 2002 and 2008.

Mills was the company’s chief financial officer. The company began its own internal investigation and contacted the IFPD in June 2011, police said. After conducting its own investigation, the department turned the case over to the prosecutor last week.

Mills turned himself in Monday and was arrested at the Bonneville County Jail.
