Economist Predicts Growth
After a rough few years, economists predict 2012 will be the year to invest.
Ameriprise Financial senior economist Russell Price said the country is on its way out of the difficulties that caused the recession.
Price said compared with the rest of the nation, Idaho has seen lower unemployment numbers because of its diverse economy and it is beginning to pay off.
“Home prices are stabilizing, new home sales are starting to pick up as are existing home sales and we are not getting that decline in overall prices anymore. So we are really starting to see things stabilize,? Price said.
While Europe is likely to suffer from a modest recession price says the European debt crisis has begun to stabilize.
