Blackfoot Hosts Baby Animal Day
A farm family in Blackfoot held a festival filled with some of the cutest things on earth.
Thousands of children and parents who packed the building at the Blackfoot Fairgrounds for Baby Animal Day.
The children at the fair got to spend the day picking whether they wanted to cradle at tiny duckling, or cuddle up next to a calf.
Our Family Farm started the celebration 8 years ago.
“They’re cute! They’re just cute and kids love them. And they’re a lot easier to handle. You know, it’s a lot easier to have a calf then have a full grown cow,? Baby Animal Day organizer Manu Hatch said.
The people running Baby Animal Day also hope kids will learn a thing or two.
“We really hope that this is like an education entertainment. So that they get away and just have fun, and at the same time learn something,? Hatch said.
