ISU posts best APR scores in school history
POCATELLO, Idaho — The Idaho State athletic department posted its highest ever Academic Progress Rate score, showing the Bengals continue to make stride in the classroom.
ISU earned a multi-year APR score of 937 and a single-year score of 950.
The football program recorded a 903 for the 2010-11 school year, the Bengals’ second-best score in school history. With the academic progress, ISU football will no longer face NCAA APR penalties, which have reduced practice times and scholarships in the past. The Bengals’ four-year score came in at 881.
Football (881), men’s basketball (914) and softball (896) are the only programs on campus that have a four-year score below the 930 mark.
