Occupied car catches fire in Idaho Falls
A car caught fire in Idaho Falls Saturday night with someone in it.
It happened on 17th Street as the driver of an old model Ford Explorer was turning onto Hitt Road.
Fire started in the undercarriage of the SUV and spread into the engine.
The male driver was able to get out uninjured, but according to witnesses the flames were pretty scary.
“I was just like, ‘Wow, this guy better get out of the car’,” said a witness.
