2 arrested in Rexburg home burglary

Police have arrested two in a burglary in which more than $20,000 of various items was taken.

Police said the burglary occurred at about 2 a.m. Thursday. Capt. Randy Lewis said police were called to a home at 1025 Hillview Drive at which vintage guitars, electronics, jewelry and other items were reported stolen.

Bryce Jon Hoffman and Timothy Edwin Fagergren, both 18, were charged with grand theft and burglary Monday. A third suspect escaped police custody during questioning and is still being sought.

Police believe they have recovered most of the stolen merchandise.
