Fire contained in Pocatello

A fire was burning in the same area the Charlotte Fire burned a few weeks ago.

The brushfire was burning Friday on Country Club Drive, which is off Johnny Creek Road. It has been contained.

A person who had been mowing the lawn in the area said a lawnmower hit a rock, and the sparks started the fire on a lot at Mountain Shadow and Foxmore.

The Charlotte Fire destroyed 66 homes after it ignited.
