Police search for convenience store robber

Police are looking for a man who robbed a convenience store early Sunday morning in Idaho Falls.

According to police, the male suspect entered the Common Cents on South Boulevard at 10th Street around 3:52 a.m. with a handgun and demanded cash.

Police said he fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 5-feet 6-inches tall and weighing 130 pounds. He was wearing a hoodie and blue jeans.

Police believe he is connected to other convenience store robberies that have taken place in the past several weeks.
