Madison County deputies are investigating an apparent murder-suicide.
The sheriff’s office responded Saturday at 6 p.m. to a suspicious death incident reported by a family member involving two persons found in a vehicle at their home at 5115 S. 4800 West.
When deputies arrived, they found victim Paula Emma Sessions, also known as Paula Emma Packer, a 40, and suspect Tommy V. Sessions, 47, both dead.

According to autopsies conducted Sunday, the Paula Sessions died from a single gunshot wound to the chest, and Tommy Sessions died from a single gunshot wound to the head. The weapon used was a 9 mm handgun.
The investigation is continuing.
