Main Street Buzz: Chesbro Music Company

In today’s Main Street Buzz, repairing a guitar is easier to do in eastern Idaho now thanks to Chesbro Music Company.

Chesbro has recently teamed up with Fender to become the first authorized repair center in eastern Idaho for Fender, Grestch, Jackson, Guild, and Squire guitars.

Chesbro Music Company was founded in 1911 when Horrace Chesbro went door-to-door in Idaho Falls to get parents and eastern idaho school districts excited about music education.

Since then, Chesbro Music Company has grown to be one of the largest sellers of sheet music west of the Mississippi, and will be expanding their second floor to offer private lessons for all types of instruments. They’re excited about their new guitar repair expansion.

“The cool part is for people who have Fender guitar is that now they have an opportunity to get their guitars fixed by a guy here who’s been repairing and restoring guitars for over 35 years. So it’s a great opportunity they no longer have to go to Salt Lake or Boise or ship it back to California,” said Ben Parker, sales and retail manager at Chesbro.

Chesbro Music Company will be hosting a drum clinic with the legendary drummer from Heart, Sept. 7th.Everyone is welcome to attend.
