Police arrest man on 5 warrants, drug-related charges

Idaho Falls police arrested a man on five outstanding warrants as well as for charges of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Wednesday at 7 p.m., officers learned John Robert Anderson, 33, was possibly in a vehicle parked outside 424 Gladstone. Anderson’s warrants were for failure to appear out of Bingham County, probation violation and failure to appear out of Bonneville County and two failure to appear warrants from the city of Idaho Falls.

Officers arrived and found Anderson sitting in a Chevy Blazer in the driveway and arrested him on the warrants.

They said they found 21 grams of what is likely methamphetamine as well as drug paraphernalia during a search of Anderson’s vehicle.

Anderson was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
