Hundreds attend 6th annual Comm-UNITY Festival

Hundreds gathered in Idaho Falls on Saturday for a celebration of diversity.

The 6th annual “Comm-UNITY Fest” was held at Tautphaus Park. The event is held every year to celebrate diversity and understanding between the various ethnic groups found around eastern Idaho.

The event featured live music, dancing, food and games for the kids.

Organizers said they’re grateful for the continued support from the community.

“A lot of times you don’t see all the diversity when you’re out shopping or taking care of business downtown, but when you come to the festival you get to experience the diversity and meet new people,” said Paula Green, event organizer.

The event is held every year during the fourth week in September.
