Police: Pocatello man stabs brother with pocket knife

Police say a 29-year-old Pocatello man stabbed his brother with a pocket knife.

Pocatello police said they were called to a disturbance at 10:40 p.m. Tuesday near Chapel and Willard streets. They found a man with a large cut to his left forearm. The victim claimed his brother cut him with a knife.

Jayde Brian Van Orden, who was also at the scene, was found with a pocket knife in his possession and dropped it on the ground in view of police. After investigation, Van Orden was arrested on charges of aggravated battery.

He was being held in the Bannock County Jail on Wednesday.
