Fire burns southeast of Pocatello

A fire was burning southeast of Pocatello on Monday along Interstate 15.

Shortly before 5 p.m., the Eastern Idaho Interagency Fire Center said the Indian Creek Fire was burning 20 acres, and structures were threatened.

However, fire managers said the spread of the fire was halting due to the efforts of firefighters, who were using four engines, one single-engine air tanker and one air attack.

They said the blaze was human-caused.
