2 hurt in I-15 rollover
A truck rollover on Interstate 15 sent two people to the hospital.
Idaho State Police said Monday that two men from Calgary, Alberta, were driving a Freightliner truck with a loaded trailer south on I-15 at milepost 120 north of Idaho Falls on Friday at 1:30 a.m. The driver, Amandeep Singh, 44, drifted off the left side of the roadway into the median. When he tried to bring the vehicle back onto the road, it overturned, coming to rest on its side.
Both he and his passenger, Baljinder Singh, 64, were transported by ground ambulance to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls. Amandeep was wearing his seatbelt, but Baljinder was in the sleeper area of the cab.
The crash is still under investigation.
