Chubbuck man killed in crash
A Chubbuck man was killed Sunday evening on the Fort Hall Indian Reservation.
Idaho State Police said Kevin Smith, 54, died from a crash on Simplot Road and Mission Road.
The accident happened approximately 6:10 p.m.
Police said Samuel Haroldsen, 30, of Pocatello was driving north on Mission road in a GMC pickup. He failed to stop at the stop sign and hit Aleisa Smith, 50, who was heading east on Simplot Road. She was driving a Mercury Marquis, police said.
Haroldsen and his passenger were not injured, police said.
Aleisa Smith was taken to Portneuf Medical Center. Her condition is unknown.
