Wyoming unemployment drops to 5.7 percent

Wyoming unemployment dropped another three tenths of a percent in September to 5.7 percent. The Research and Planning section of the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services reported nearly all county unemployment levels followed normal seasonal patterns. The highest unemployment rates were found in Fremont (5.6 percent) and Lincoln (5.4 percent) counties.

Jobless rates fell in 22 counties from September 2011 to September 2012. The number of nonfarm jobs rose by 3,100 over the same time.
