Police: Man threatens woman with knife after being told to leave bar

An Idaho Falls man was arrested after police said he threatened a Ford’s Bar employee with a knife.

Police said Wednesday that the incident occurred Friday night.

The worker, a 28-year-old woman, said Kenneth L. Caldwell came into the bar at 444 A Street and started causing a disturbance. She then told Caldwell, 30, to leave.

He left, then started banging on the glass outside. The employee said she went outside, and Caldwell shouted obscenities at her and pulled a knife out and threatened her.

Officers were called at about 7:45 p.m. They found Caldwell at Karen’s Bar.

Caldwell was booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
