Firefighters battle basement fire

A house was burning in Bonneville County on Thursday afternoon.

The fire appeared to be in the basement of a home at 12493 N. 55 East just south of Jefferson County.

It ignited shortly before 3 p.m.

Firefighters were having trouble gaining access to the blaze.
