Todd Kunz and Steve Cannon honor local students

An area high school hosted a pep rally of a different kind.

The gym at Bonneville High was packed with enthusiasm for academic honors.

More than 400 students were honored for either high grades, improving grades or perfect attendance.

Not only were the kids treated to prizes like candy and a chance to win a Blu-ray player, they were also treated to a hardy pat on the back from our colleagues Todd Kunz and Steve Cannon.

“I think the greatest part about it is being able to inspire these kids to go on, and go to school and achieve their goals and their dreams,” Kunz said.
Todd and Steve were told to wear collegiate apparel and jeans to the event, to represent “jean-ius.”
