Pocatello man accused of trying to break into ex-girlfriend’s home

A Pocatello man was arrested at 3:25 a.m. Friday after a disturbance at the home of his ex-girlfriend.

Police said 38-year-old Steven Brock Ulrich was trying to break into a home at 800 Green in Pocatello. They said Ulrich used lawn furniture and other items to cause more than $1,600 in damage.

Ulrich fled the area, and officers were unable to locate him until a second 911 call alerted police that he was on the front porch, trying to get the homeowner to let him in.

Ulrich was arrested on a charge of felony malicious injury to property.
