Ammon woman killed in Bonneville County crash
An Ammon woman has died of injuries sustained in a crash on Ammon Road on Wednesday afternoon.
The Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office said 60-year-old Linda A. Vandekamp drove her 1998 Isuzu Rodeointo the back of a 1998 Dodge pickup driven by Randall Richmond at the intersection of Garnet and Ammon around 1:20 p.m.
Investigators said Richmond was waiting for oncoming traffic to make a left turn.Vandekamp’s car crashed into the back of the pickup.
She was not wearing a seat belt.
Vanderkamp had to be extricated from the car and was transported to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center, where she died of her injuries.
