IF man arrested in stabbing incident
An Idaho Falls man was arrested after police said he stabbed another man at the Bonneville Hotel Apartments early Wednesday morning.
Idaho Falls officers arrived at a Common Cents convenience store on South Boulevard around 2:15 a.m. after getting a report of a man with a stab wound.
Officers spoke with the 63-year-old victim, who said he had been stabbed by James D. Bentley, 56, at Bentley’s apartment at the Bonneville Hotel.
The stabbing occurred during a dispute between the two men, police said.
Bentley was arrested on a charge of aggravated battery and booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
