INL building evacuated
The Engineering Research Office Building of the Idaho National Laboratory was evacuated briefly Tuesday morning.
A motor in the elevator control room caught fire. An INL maintenance worker put it out with a fire extinguisher before the fire department arrived, said Idaho Falls Division Chief Brad Pettingill.
About 660 people work in the building, an INL spokesperson said.
