Credit Union offers modern banking
A brand new Idaho State University Credit Union opened in Idaho Falls Saturday.
The public was allowed to take a tour of the credit union’s contemporary lobby. Branch manager B.J. Fillingame said they pushed for an Idaho-inspired facility with landscaped-inspired art. He said they are trying to offer the community a different banking experience that does away with “old school” teller lines.
“You walk in, you’re dealing with a members service representative one-on-one. You’re looking at the same screen that they work from. So there’s no hidden walls or anything. We’re breaking down the barriers of the old system,” he said.
