2 arrested in knife incident

Two teens pulled a knife on a boy Saturday morning, Pocatello police said.

Giovanni Luna, 18, and Tymbr Quinn A. Pongah, 18, were both arrested on a charge of aggravated battery.

The incident occurred on the 800 block of West Center Street. Police said both suspects left, but were later caught and taken to the police station.

Luna admitted to officers that he pulled a knife and threatened the victim, police said.

A witness told police he saw Luna throw the knife to Pongah. According to police, Pongah admitted pushing the knife into the victim’s stomach.

Pongah also faces a charge of misdemeanor child endangerment because of the victim’s age.

The victim suffered a small puncture wound to the stomach that did not require medical treatment.
