Former sheriff’s office employee arrested
A former Madison County Sheriff’s Office employee was arrested after thousands of dollars were reported missing.
According to a news release from the sheriff’s office Monday, in July, $3,500 was missing from a sheriff’s office fund. This triggered both an internal investigation and one by the Tri County Sheriff’s Association.
Sandra Marie Biorn was arrested Oct. 22 and booked on a warrant obtained by a special prosecutor from Bonneville County on charges of misuse of public monies by a public employee, grand theft and computer crime.
