Pumpkin event to help those with diabetes

Hundreds of pumpkins at Jensen Grove in Blackfoot will help out folks with Type 1 diabetes.

Pum’kin Palooza is going through Halloween.

There is no admission fee, though the group is asking for a canned food or money donation.

The pumpkins were donated and carved by members of the community. They can be seen from 6 to 8 p.m. in Cami’s Park inside Jensen Grove.

Organizers advise those who attend to dress warm and bring a flashlight to help see on the walkway.
