Superheroes visit Idaho Falls school

One Idaho Falls elementary school got a visit from some superheroes on Tuesday.

The crime stoppers stormed Sunnyside Elementary School to talk about Halloween safety with the kids. They gave various tips, such as wearing glowsticks if their costumes were a dark color.

Beneath the masks were CWI employees, who do these kind of activities in the community as part of an outreach program.

Spider-Man, Batman, Superman, Storm, Wonder Woman said this is a good way to make Halloween safety fun for the students. Spider-Man’s arch-nemesis, Venom, also made an appearance.

“It’s really cool because the kids are always excited, you know, depending on the age … about the possibility of seeing the superheroes or the people they look up to, and that’s why we do these characters,” said Batman, who declined to give his secret identity.
