Man accused of using brass knuckles in argument

An Idaho Falls man was arrested after he allegedly tried to use brass knuckles to punch a woman.

Police were called to a home on the 1800 block of Balboa for a report of a disturbance around 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The 22-year-old victim told police she and Joel C. Roberts, 19, got into an argument that turned physical. She said Roberts tried to punch her with a set of brass knuckles, but she put her hand up, causing her hand to be hit.

Roberts was arrested on a charge of aggravated battery and booked into the Bonneville County Jail.
