Todd Kunz

Todd returns to Idaho and joins Channel 3 Eyewitness News from KVOA News 4 in Tucson, Ariz., where he was the weekend weather anchor and weekday reporter. Prior to that, he was also a morning anchor and weathercaster for KVOA.

Previously, Todd worked in Idaho Falls for more than eight years as a reporter, weathercaster, anchor and producer. He produced and anchored a late-night news magazine show.

Todd was born and raised in Southeast Idaho’s Bear Lake Valley. After serving an LDS mission in Phoenix, Ariz., he graduated from Utah State University in Logan, Utah with a degree in broadcast communications and emphasis in public relations and business.

He spent the first six years of his broadcasting career in radio, as the producer for the Utah State Sports Radio Network and as a morning radio personality.

Todd says his family comes first and that is a big reason why he has returned to Idaho. He likes basketball, golf, Seinfeld reruns, reading and mostly spending time with his family.

Todd and his wife met on a “partially” blind date. Have him explain that one sometime. They have two children.

Watch for Todd weeknights at 5:30 and 10 on KIDK and at 9 on KXPI. Todd is excited to be back home and closer to his family. He loves to hear from viewers, so feel free to email Todd at tkunz@kidk.com.
