Teens make Valentine’s Day special for kids in hospital

Some children in EIRMC’s pediatric center got a special valentine Wednesday.

Art students at Skyline High School put together boxes for kids who have to spend the holiday in Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.

They finished putting the boxes together at lunch, then they delivered them to the kids later in the afternoon.

The boxes are full of art activities. The kids now have sketchbooks, stickers, crayons, a Skyline bear mask to color and more.

The Skyline students said everyone deserves a good Valentine’s Day gift..

“We’re putting together valentines for the pediatric center because we thought we would give back to them for the holidays for them being stuck in the hospital for Valentines Day,” said Skyline student Haley Jarrett. “They deserve something special too.”
