Cactus Smart Sink- Drug Disposal
Mountain View Hospital has a new way for doctors and nurses to dispose of drugs. It’s called the Cactus Smart Sink. It turns pharmaceutical waste into a gel that is permanently locked in containers which gets sent to an incinerator for final disposal. The smart sinks prevent drugs from getting into the wrong hands and even from ending up in drinking water.
