Snowmobile Expo bolsters W. Yellowstone economy
The 2014 Snowmobile Expo wrapped up in West Yellowstone Sunday.
During the three-day event, snowmobile manufacturers from across the country unveiled their 2015 lines for the first time in the Intermountain West.
As hoped for, the expo helped inject life into the local economy.
“You can see there’s just loads of people everywhere. You know, it’s for the lodging and the restaurants and all the retail. Everybody benefits for that time period,” said Marge Wanner with the West Yellowstone Chamber of Commerce.
Local News 8 spoke to a manager at the Holiday Inn who said that most of the rooms there were booked this weekend.
The Expo is organized each year by the West Yellowstone Chamber of Commerce.
