Amber Alert for Montana infant cancelled
An Amber Alert issued for a Montana infant that authorities believe was abducted by her non-custodial mother was cancelled after the infant was found safe in Kentucky.
Police say 34-year-old Rebecca Castro and 6-month-old Heaven Angel Torres were last seen at the Walmart in Laurel at noon on Monday. An alert issued Wednesday night suggested the two, along with a 3-year-old girl, may have taken a bus to Yuma, Arizona.
The alert was cancelled at noon Thursday. Officials say the infant was safe with law enforcement officers. Laurel police did not immediately release any other information.
Laurel police had said Castro has a history of drug use and that the infant could be in danger.
