Local children’s choir to host Bright Tomorrows benefit

One local children’s choir is inviting the community to a free concert on Thursday night at the Mystique Theater in Chubbuck.

The Tavaci singing group is hosting a fundraiser for the Bright Tomorrows child advocacy center in Pocatello, which helps children and families who are facing emotionally-traumatizing situations.

Event organizer Cindy Bowen said she and her husband Dave feel it’s time the community understands how important this resource is to local kids in need.

“We have been very passionate about the effects of what this could do for kids and we cannot stand what happens to these children when they are abused,” Bowen said. “They are not in control of their own lives.”

She added, the event will start at six o’clock, with free admission to the concert.
