Bannock County assessor’s office changes hours

The Bannock County assessor’s office will now be open on Fridays beginning in February. The office’s current hours are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday.

Beginning in February, the office will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.

The employee shifts will be split between 6:15 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and 9:15 a.m. to 6:15 p.m., with all nine employees getting an hour for lunch.

Bannock County Assessor Jared Paul Stein said he thinks the community will be very happy with this change.

“We look forward to being able to serve the public, take care of their needs and help them any way we can,” he said.

Stein became county assessor on Jan. 12.
