Old Town neighborhoods renamed

NeighborWorks Pocatello has decided on new names for five Old Town Pocatello neighborhoods based on the public’s feedback.

The names are based the results of an online poll, in which residents voted for their favorite name.

The new names are as follows (see map above):

Area 1: Foothill District
Area 2: River View District
Area 3: Heritage Railroad District
Area 4: Old Town District
Area 5: City Creek District

More than 300 people voted in the poll.
